Biscotti!

I have a new favorite recipe: Ellie Krieger's Chocolate Cherry Almond Biscotti. It's delicious with a cup of hot joe, and it's not all that bad for you. It's got chocolate, dried cherries, and almonds (obviously), and it's made with whole wheat flour (I use white whole wheat) and olive oil. It's crunchy, but not too crunchy, and sweet, but not too sweet. I made a batch this afternoon, and am about to enjoy one with a cup of decaf before calling it a night. Perfect end to the day!!

Are they still healthy if you eat the whole batch at once? They look delicious. And the farmer's market goodies look so incredible that they actually look photoshopped!

I just might try that.
I like Biscotti. I didn't realize that real live human beings could actually MAKE it.

P.S. I'm still trying to talk Squid into the Crock Pot Roast with Russian Dressing thing you posted months ago.
